It is a matter of immense pride and pleasure for me to welcome you all ‘virtually’ to Multanimal Modi College. It is in this part of the cyberspace that you would find all the vital information relating to the college ranging from its history to present-day activities, from its infrastructure to its workforce, from its admission procedure to its alumni association, and much more.
It is heartening as well as challenging to occupy the position of the head of this institution of the Modi family that respects tradition as much as it emphasizes innovation. It is indeed one of the pressing concerns of the institution to keep the youth of today firmly rooted in Indian values, tradition and culture and at the same time, to orient them towards the modern, latest corpus of knowledge and technology. The college puts a high premium on sculpting its students into morally upright, and politically and socially aware and responsible citizens. Simultaneously it makes consistent and strident efforts to make them competent to meet global standards of diverse educational and professional opportunities.
Yet another significant area of focus of the college is to ensure professionalism of its workforce, for it is the latter that remains ‘the’ agent of change and dynamism that the college so keenly aims at. However, professionalism is attained with a humanistic touch. Decisions are made and policies are framed with due consideration to human limitations and exigencies. The college also believes sincerely in the strength and positive energy of decentralized system of governance. Hence it provides equal opportunity to all its stakeholders to pool in their respective talents, ideas and expertise to realize its ultimate dream of development on every front vis-à-vis of the institution as a whole as well as of each and every of its individual.
