FACULTY OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES

Faculty of professional studies, Multanimal Modi Collge Modinagar was established in its present form in the year 2002, with full fledged multi-disciplinary department as a part of main stream of the college, initially starting with M.Sc. in Biotechnology and DOEACC ‘O’ Level courses. Currently the Faculty of professional studies runs several professional, technically skilled Diploma & Certificate courses (‘O’ level, ‘CCC’ & ‘BCC’ ) from NIELIT, New Delhi, Graduate Programme ( Business Administration, Computer Science ans Physical Education ) and Post Graduate Programme ( Biotechnology, Library Science ), affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut (Uttar Pradesh). Being a part of main stream of the nation, it has been contributing to the industry, academics, businesses, government and social sector at par with leading professional Faculty

Objectives of Professional Studies Courses

To acquaint the student with the entire field of professional education
To give one an understanding of individuals, particularly as to the manner in which they grow and develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
To assist one in learning how to apply critical thinking to all problems, particularly to those related to professional education.
To provide opportunities for one to work with youth in learning situations.
To acquaint one with techniques and procedures essential to teaching.
To assist one in learning how to select, organize, present and evaluate instructional materials.
To help one to adjust to students, fellow faculty members, patrons and others whom he may meet in performing professional duties.
To help in developing democratic procedures.
